For Nano and Pico aquariums, the amount of water loss through evaporation can create rapid changes in your salinity in a short amount of time. Manually topping up once a day, or every few days causes instability in your aquarium and cause your inhabitants stress. With the DIY Refill you can safely and effectively refill evaporated water.
Suitable for both marine and freshwater aquariums. The DIY Refill set also contains a bottle of high-quality filter bacteria, Bacto Reef Blend, for automatic dosing into the tank via refill system. The constant supply of the solution via the refill system is ideal for optimizing the efficiency of the filter bacteria contained in the solution and increasing their effectiveness. The bacteria supports the natural biofilm.
Perfect for aquariums with a glass thickness of 3-10mm, it is easy to install and safe as no electricity is required. The easy access to the feed organisms in the reactor is a great convenience. With the integrated drain valve and the plankton sieve, daily feeding is very simple.
The DIY-Reactor is supplied with a bottle adapter. Thus, bottles with a capacity of up to 2 litres can be used as reactor container.
